Short description of the project: Our client is a leading player in automation and electrical engineering, based in Norway. Since 1987, they have delivered innovative solutions to industry, energy, and infrastructure – from engineering and panel production to installation and service. You will join our core team to further develop their APIs and platform. The source code is in Flutter but the knowledge of Rails is a requirement. The developer or developers who come in will be given fairly free rein and ownership of their work, but must be structured in their working methodology. The source code is not necessarily the most advanced, but requires business process and subject matter understanding – to understand why the processes are the way they are and why different reservations are made. The most important requirement is good communication, which is the key to getting a good product.

Project starts in mid-January / early February, long-term, min 12 months extendable for another year. Part-time is possible for the first month, afterwards a full-time engagement is expected.

Type of engagement: It is a long-term and full-time freelance contract.

Hourly pay:
30 EUR / hour (for part-time, for the first month)
35 EUR / hour (for full-time)
possible to grow depending on the quality and delivery

Methodologies: Agile / Scrum

Level of English: Good; Talking, Reading, and Writing
