Short description of the project task: Our client is a German company in the field of online programs for workout and nutrition. The person will be responsible for building scalable, reliable and fast APIs in Node.js. Our backend utilizes a microservice architecture, so each service will be required to communicate to our event queue and process both outgoing and incoming events. We currently use Microsoft SQL Server, but are soon to be using either MySQL or Postgres for a relational database, and are completely open to using NoSQL-databases depending on requirements of new microservices.

Required experience: 3+ years

Type of engagement: It is a long-term and full-time freelance contract.

Project period: ASAP, long-term, min 12 months extendable for another year. Part-time is possible for the first month, afterwards a full-time engagement is expected.

Hourly pay:

25 EUR / hour (for part-time, for the first month)
30 EUR / hour (for full-time)
possible to grow depending on the quality and delivery

Methodologies: Agile / Scrum

Level of English: Good; Talking, Reading, and Writing
