Short description of the project task: Current tasks are to migrate from self-managed systems (Kafka, Cassandra, Mongo and Elastic) to AWS managed services. Relevant areas of expertise:

– Isolability in the system (sharing system resources)
– Backup
– Disaster Recovery
– Monitoring
– Migration
– Infrastructure pipeline
– Deployment – one to one tester – version updates
– Self manage backend, how to set up account, monitoring, migration
– Supplier contact
– Flexible development, participate in planning, team standups, clarification meetings

Our client is a Norwegian company that will sign a consultancy contract directly with the chosen candidate.

Required experience: 3+ years

Project period: ASAP, long-term, min 12 months extendable for another year. Part-time is possible for the first month, afterwards a full-time engagement is expected.

Consulting fee:
20 EUR / hour (for part-time)
25 EUR / hour (for full-time)
possible to grow depending on the quality and delivery

Place of work: remote home office, for the client in Norway
